Terms of use
These terms cover your Jobsloth account, the applications Jobsloth prepares and sends for you, and the lifetime plans. By creating an account you agree to them.
Who we are
Jobsloth is operated by [legal name of the operating business, company number and registered address]. You can reach us at [support email address].
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into these terms.
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Jobsloth creates a professional application email address for you on applyto.email. Employers write to it and you read and reply in the Jobsloth inbox.
Applications we send for you
- Jobsloth finds live jobs that match what you tell it, fills in employers’ application forms using your CV, your saved answers and your profile, and submits them in your name.
- You choose how hands-on to be: approve each application, approve a daily batch, or let Jobsloth apply to strong matches on its own (autopilot, including Insta-apply on Lifetime Unlimited). You can change this at any time.
- Answers are written only from facts you have given us. If a form asks something we can’t answer truthfully from your information, Jobsloth stops and asks you instead of guessing.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your CV and answers. Check them; applications go out in your name.
- Some employer sites need an account to apply. With your permission, Jobsloth creates and uses those accounts in your name with a password it generates and stores encrypted. You can ask us for the details or to stop at any time.
- Jobsloth does not get round security checks. If a form asks you to prove you are a person, it hands the form to you to finish.
- Each application counts as sent only once the employer’s site confirms it. We keep proof (the confirmation page and the employer’s receipt) in your account.
- We don’t control employers. We can’t promise that any employer will reply, interview or hire you.
Lifetime plans
- Lifetime ($199.99, paid once): up to 1,000 applications a month for as long as Jobsloth operates.
- Lifetime Unlimited ($499.99, paid once): no monthly application limit, plus Insta-apply, which puts new jobs that match you and pay at least your target salary at the front of the queue.
- “Lifetime” means for the life of the Jobsloth service, not your lifetime. If we ever close the service, we will give at least [notice period, e.g. 90 days] notice.
- How many applications go out depends on how many live jobs match you and on employers’ forms; the limits are a maximum, not a promise of volume.
- Launch prices are a time-limited offer. Your launch price is held for 24 hours after you sign up.
- Payments are taken by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars; your bank may convert them. [Confirm whether prices include VAT/sales tax, or tax is added at checkout]
Refunds and the interview guarantee
See Refunds. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Acceptable use
- Use Jobsloth only to apply for jobs for yourself, with true information.
- Don’t use it to send spam, impersonate anyone, or apply in someone else’s name.
- Don’t try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or resell the service.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules. If we do, and you have a paid plan, we will explain why and you can appeal to us.
Availability and responsibility
We work to keep Jobsloth running and accurate, but job listings come from employers’ own sites and can change or close at any time. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for employers’ decisions. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We stop applying for you straight away and delete your data as described in our Privacy policy.
Changes and law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of [England and Wales, or another jurisdiction]; if you are a consumer you also keep the protection of the law where you live.
